Event Name – Breakfast Meet
Event Location – Wetherspoons Glossop
Event Date – 10th May (We have moved the date from the 3rd as it is over a Bank Holiday weekend!)
Event Info – Our breakfasts meets are back at our local Wetherspoons. Come for a coffee and a chat, and maybe a breakfast barm or 2 too! We usually meet from 9.00 am – 9.30 onwards.
No need to book or let us know you are coming. This is an open invite that requires no committment.

Event Info – We have applied for Tatton Park’s June show and have been granted a stand for 10 to 12 cars on both days. Event Name – Baslow Classic Vehicle and Dog Show Event

Event Info – We plan to return to this locally ran event which was very popular with our members in 2025. More details to come. BBQ, BAR and Music
Entry for vehicles is free of charge but a donation to the Sports Field Charity would be beneficial to them

Event Name – Avro Heritage Museum Wings and Wheels day
Event Location – Avro Heritage Museum Woodford Aerodrome, Chester Road SK7 1AG
Event Date – 11th July
Event Inf: Avro are doing a Wings and Wheels on Saturday 11th July. We can arrange a time to meet at Hazel Grove Park n Ride to travel in convoy to the show, last year had a Lancaster Bomber flyover 3 circuits! You can pay £5 on the day.

Event Name: Fun Drive & Adlington Adventure Golf plus Lunch (Organised by Alan Smith)
Event Date: Saturday 18th July 2026
Event Info: As previously posted Alan Smith is arranging a fun day out at AdlingtonCrazy Golf with an Australian theme at aldlingtongolfcentre.co.uk/ The cost is £14 per person for the golf assuming there are at least 12 people. Lunch is at the Legh Arms, Adlington with an optional leisurley drive home via Prestbury, Mottram St Andrews and Poynton.

Event Name – The Glossop Car Show 2026
Event Location – Manor Park, Glossop, SK13 7SH.
Event Date – 30th August.
Event Info – Our own show is BACK again for 2026.
GVEC are holding our Annual Car Show on Sunday 30th August in Manor Park Glossop from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
The event brings together over 300 display vehicles of all ages makes and models from Vintage Classics to modern high performance cars, bikes and commercial and Military vehicles.
There will be entertainment , food and trade stalls, charity stands and family friendly activities. Proceeds will be shared between our two chosen charities: Blythe House Hospice and Reuben’s Retreat.
