For Shows/Events/Drives please email the club to let us know that you are attending. Some events will require you to book and pay the organisers directly and we will indicate that below if that is the case.
It is vital that we know how many members are expected to be at an event so that we can plan.

When: Sunday 11th – Manchester Airport Visitor Centre Show
Where: Sunbank Lane, Altrincham, WA15 8XQ
Information: We will return to the Manchester Airport Visitor Centre for their Annual Summer Show. This was very popular last year, there is lots to do including a Tour of Concorde if you wish. A static event based at the Airport so plenty for the family too!
We are meeting at Hazel Grove Park & Ride 8:30am for a 9am Departure.

Information: This year we have organised a Fathers Day Drive & Meal at the exciting new Motoring Enthusiasts Cafe; Ignition.
We are organising a drive to this venue, based in Chesterfield with a Breakfast/Brunch available.
Pre Booking is required and a £5 deposit which will be taken off your food bill.

When: Sunday 23rd July – GVEC ‘Snakes & Ladders’ Run
Where: Snakes Pass and More, Starting in Glossop.
Information: In 2023 we aim to bring a new and hopefully annual event to the GVEC Calendar. Starting in Glossop we will provide a Tulip Map for a Run over Snakes Pass and beyond – taking you through various scenic routes, including a mid way stop off and end destination with a late lunch venue.

Information: New to the GVEC calendar is this Vintage Show which sees a variety of exhibits shown off from Cars to Trucks, Motorbikes to Steam Engines, Traction Engines and Stationary Exhibits.
There are plenty of stalls, food vendors and even an auction! £1 per car which goes towards local charity.

Where: Stratton House Hotel, Cirencester
Information: We are excited to announce our 2nd holiday of the year; a tour of the Cotswolds, taking place in September 2023. (Dates 21st-25th September)
Our base will be the stunning Stratton House Hotel in Cirencester, a beautiful Roman Town situated in the heart of the Cotswolds.
We are planning a run with a local car club on one of the days.
On the Sunday “Cotswold Festival of Motoring” an annual fundraiser takes place in Bourton in the Water (you will need to book this at northcotswoldsrotary.org if you want to exhibit – places are filling up and they advise booking asap)
We have made contact with the hotel and can offer the following prices:
4 Night B&B (double room) – £550.
4 Night B&B (superior double room) – £650
The Hotel has a restaurant, spa, bar, lounge and secure car park and is just a short walk from the town centre. There are also many restaurants and pubs in the local area
In order to secure your place please contact the hotel directly on 01285 651761. A 10% deposit is required at time of booking. You must book as an individual for this trip, contacting the hotel directly. Please advise you are booking as an individual and part of GVEC.
